House Bill 201 (HB 201) requires that a minimum or medium risk defendant to be released from probation in certain circumstances. 


 House Bill 201 (HB 201) amends Section 31-20-5 NMSA 1978 by requiring that a defendant be automatically released from probation if the defendant is considered minimum or medium risk, has met all the probation obligations, and has completed at least half of the probation term.
