Relating to tobacco products by clarifying that municipalities and counties may enact ordinances, charter amendments or regulations pertaining to the sales of tobacco products that are stricter than, but not in conflict with, the provisions of the Tobacco Products Act.


 This legislation modifies the section on county and municipal passage of an ordinance, regulation or charter amendment pertaining to the sale of tobacco products. The ordinance, charter amendment or regulation shall be consistent with the provisions of the Tobacco Products Act.
New language now states:  that nothing in the section should be construed to prohibit a municipality or county from enacting ordinances, regulations, or charter amendments that are stricter than but not in conflict with the Tobacco Products Act.
