House Bill 238 in Public Schools Section 22-2-8.1 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1986, Chapter 33, Section 2, as amended by Laws 2023, Chapter 19, Section 1 and by Laws 2023, Chapter 84, Section 22) currently allows 30 hours for professional work hours for middle and high school grades.
