Summary:
 Senate Bill 27 makes an appropriation to the New Mexico Department of Agriculture to fund and provide rootstock or vines for new vineyards in New Mexico.
 
Legislation Overview:
 Senate Bill 27 appropriates $1,000,000 from the General Fund to the Board of Regents of New Mexico State University for expenditure in Fiscal years 2025 through 2028 for the New Mexico Department of Agriculture to fund and provide rootstock or vines for the production of new vineyards in New Mexico. 

Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of Fiscal Year 2028 shall revert to the General Fund.
