•	proposes to expand the employment history qualifications for a candidate applying for the position of Executive Director of the Gaming Control Board. 
•	The candidate must have at least five years of responsible supervisory administrative experience in a regulatory agency or gaming industry. 
•	The Executive Director will be employed by, report directly to, and serve at the pleasure of the board.

Salary Limitation: The act specifies that the Executive Director's annual salary will be set by the board but should not exceed double the maximum salary available to the governor of New Mexico.
