Summary:
 Senate Bill 59 (SB 59) is an act making an appropriation to the department of transportation to study the feasibility of constructing a high-speed passenger railroad in New Mexico.

 Senate Bill 59 (SB 59) proposes the appropriation of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) from the general fund to the department of transportation, for expenditure in fiscal year 2024 (FY 24), to study the feasibility of a high-speed passenger railroad in New Mexico.  Unexpended balance at the end of FY 24 will revert to the general fund.
