Summary:
 Senate Bill 60 (SB 60) makes an appropriation of $375,000 for a suicide intervention training program at Santa Fe Community College. 
Legislation Overview:
 Senate Bill 60 (SB 60) appropriates $375,000 to the Higher Education Department for Fiscal Years 2025 and 2026 (FY25, FY26) to establish a suicide intervention training program at Santa Fe Community College. The program must provide an evidence-based, peer-to-peer intervention.

SB 60 does not have an effective date. If passed and signed into law, the assumed effective date is 90 days after the end of the session, May 15.
